about

Second release from Thomas Carnacki, an ep from 2010. A strange assemblage of pieces from a variety of contexts. Pieces from this release, more than any other, have gone on to crop up in the most peculiar places, from choreography to cinema. Go figure. I will say that from a personal point of view, I think The Fall of Wappinger might be my favourite piece in the whole Carnacki catalogue. The release party took place at the Totally Intense Fractal Mindgaze Hut in Oakland (a now, sadly, defunct venue) and featured guest stars Leyna Marika Papach and Carla Bozulich.
